We will miss you Aspen!

Today was sad day for our family. Aspen, our golden lab, who was 12 years old, has been quite ill for a while now. He has hip dysplasia and can barely move. This morning he came stumbling in the front door covered in poop and hair and sweat. He can't even get up from going to the bathroom. Mom and dad decided to put him to sleep today at 4:30. I couldn't go and see that happen so i stayed home. Kameron dug a hole in the front yard for him to be burried in and when I saw aspen lying in the back of the truck i started to sob. It was so sad just watching him lay there. It was certainly a sad moment. He has been such a good dog and we love him so much! So many fun memories with good old aspen. I remember taking him to belle isle downtown and running around the island with him and playiing fetch in the river. That was back when he could still swim. I remember going to thousand trails camp ground and he would jump in the lake after the paddle boat and try to swim to us. I remember when he ate mom's feces in the civil war park. That was disgusting but I do remember that about him. I loved how he looks like seal and would always lend a paw for you to shake. Cute little thing! He was the best dog ever and he will surely be missed! After the funeral that Kameron insisted we all attend, we drove up to Paotmic Mills and did some shopping. We had isabelle with us and can i just tell you one more time....that fat baby is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Tomorrow we are going to Busch Gardens as a family. I am so excited! And then i leave wednesday to head back to utah for just a couple days before I head to Hawaii. Hawaii....i absolutely LOVE hawaii.
